I was born in Chicago on November 23, 1975. When I was 5 years old, my family moved to Orange County in Southern California. My parents and my older brother and his family all still live in Orange County. My brother and his wife also have a two year old son, Cooper. We recently spent a long weekend playing with the family and Cooper at a lake front cabin and on our boat – we plan to spend time there with the family every summer.
I loved to sing as a child and I spent several years performing with the All American Boys Chorus. While singing with them, I had the amazing opportunity to travel around the world and visit great places like Austria, the Soviet Union (now Russia), Japan, and all over the United States and Canada. I even had the chance to sing for former President Nixon and I was in a Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial with the group.
After high school, I attended Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts near Boston. I studied photography while I was in college which is obvious when you walk into our home – there are several copies of my photos on the walls. I also sang while at Harvard and was a part of the Harvard Opportunes – an acapella singing group.
Other than singing, I have also always been interested in computers. I got my first computer as a kid and my parents said I was so excited I almost made myself sick. I have always loved working with them and I took several computer classes in college. I have been working with websites since graduation and I am now a software engineer in San Francisco.
